Review of actions
- Action 17, 18: no update
- Action 40: (Lord) Demo of fault tolerance system in Heidelberg
last week (18/11). FT tasks would like monitoring to provide more types
than just string. (Olof)This is planned but will probably not be ready for
the EU review. In the meanwhile a metric value format table will be
provided. The task list for 2003 developments in the FT task is OK and KIP
are now working on attaching timelines. The EU review Demo will include
string compare and other enhancements in the rule editor. Lord hopes that
this will be ready for the FT tutorial exercises at the WP4 hands-on
workshop in December.
- Action 58: job repository foreseen for 2Q03. Thomas needs job
repository for the accounting. The gridification task considers LCMAPS to
be of higher priority. Thomas and David/Martijn will discuss how to solve
this problem over Email and at the WP4 workshop in December.
- Action 74: no update. Thomas is in contact with Andrea (??) in
WP1. Olof will check with Francesco if the WP4 accounting is needed for
their EU review demo (Action).
- Action 76: Info providers delivered and used in the EDT-iVDGL
demo at SC2002. Action closed
- Action 79: EDG has decided on RH731 CERN distribution. Action
closed
- Action 81: no update. Thomas is looking at the Zambo document
from WP2.
- Action 82: (German) handed over Andrey’s new schema to FIO
group (production services) who is having a close look. They are happy
with the global schema but want to change the template hierarchy. Lionel
would like the discussion to go on to the mailing list. German said that FIO
hasn’t yet provided written feedback.
- Action 83: Lord is working on the planning based on the task
list developed together with Olof last week. Thomas will send his
planning. David needs one more week.
- Action 84: All tasks has answered except for the Gridification
task. David will check with Martijn.
New actions
- Action on Olof: check with Francesco (WP1) if the WP4
accounting is needed for their EU review demo
- Action on all institutes: provide input for next quarterly
report (4Q02) based on October and November (not December!) by end of this
week (29/11/02). Because of the early EU review (4-5th of
February 2003) the last Quarterly Report for 2002 will have to be
delivered by beginning of December. Olof will send a reminder to the WP4
mailing list.
- Action on all task leaders: provide update for what has been done
to address the reviewers’ comments from the first EU review and the EDG
reply, see https://wwwlistbox.cern.ch/earchive/hep-proj-grid-fabric/msg00879.html.
The update has to be included in the 2002 annual report, which needs to be
delivered by first week of December.
